After September 11, I heard rumblings about how people wanted the New York football teams to win games because they were from New York. I stated that they should rally behind the Patriots, because that would be patriotic, and that the Patriots should therefore go to and win the Super Bowl for the sake of the entire nation.
If you want the Rams to beat the Patriots today, the terrorists have already won.

Pretty good game. I watched it part-time on my computer (I have a tuner) while futzing around with Perl. I thought it was going into OT for sure.
Vinatieri (sp?) will be a hero for quite some time. I wonder if Scott Norwood was watching...
