Peter Prymmer reminded me that in a discussion on p5p last year, Matthias Neeracher proposed some support of using "../lib" 'properly' in MacPerl's @INC, specifically because of problems with porting tests. I was privy to the discussion and took part in it. Thankfully, his memory is far better than mine.
