Bloom County

I signed up for MyComicsPage ($10 a year). It's pretty sweet, get a ton of comics on my own page, can archive them, etc. But even if I could get those comics elsewhere, how could I pass up the opportunity to get all of Bloom County? That's right, every Bloom County, releasing a week every two days, starting today. Super sweet.

Bloom County has to be my favourite comic strip of all time. You used to be able to get the books in comic shops here even before the Guardian picked it up for the last few years of its run.

I haven't looked at the books for years, but now you've reminded me I'm going to have to get them out again and read them.

Steve Dallas is my role model :)

pudge.net runs on berke-breathed.deathtongue.org. :)

And my role model has always been Oliver Wendell Jones.

I still have some bloom counties

I believe I saved a few dozen comic sections from my local newspaper, including the last Bloom County wherein Opus leaves. Very, very good stuff. Bloom County was a very life-affirming comic in palatable way. :-)

How large are the scans?

They don't have any samples online, and Bloom County is best enjoyed in a larger-than-typical comic size.

Yeah, not great, sometimes a bit hard to read.

To be more specific ... 16-bit greyscale, 600 x 188 at 72 dpi.
