Yep, my company has some pretty anal firewall rules in place as well. But at least I can ssh out. Not being able to ssh out must be a real pain in the arse.

Yeah... it stinks.

Used to be different, but then we got connectivity through the company who had bought us. Fatter pipe, but we get a firewall and mandatory HTTP proxy.
