Looking for new maintainer for HTML::Tree

petek on 2010-04-06T18:53:35

I'm no longer able to maintain HTML::Tree. Anyone interested? I have a ton of bug mail and tickets that I don't have the ability to maintain, and I'm willing to pass them along.

I'm willing to consider it

What's involved?

I've been a bad module maintainer the last few years, and despite a large number of bug reports and emails, I haven't made the time to fix and release.

I'm willing to hand over the distribution baton, along with the bug queue and my mail backlog, to the right person willing to take a scalpel to the module. (You might want to look at the patient: he's had four surgeons already.)

I probably get around one mail a month pointing out a bug or asking a question about the module, and sadly I haven't adressed them for so long that many of them would probably be simple with a fresh pair of eyes.

I'm willing to maintain or co-maintain it

Hi, my app http://publican.fedorahosted.org/ carries a patch for this in Debian and Fedora, so I'd like to help get this patched and a new version rolled out. I can commit some regular cycles for other maintenance work.

Just getting my pause account setup atm.

Yay! My pause account, JFEARN, is set up now, so I'm all ready to help or take over :)

Cheers, Jeff.
