Today Amy & I took Quinn to Goebbert's Pumpkin Farm. They had an animal tent with llamas, which Quinn didn't like much.
After that, Amy wanted to put Quinn on a pony ride, but when I saw that they had camel rides, that notion was quickly scotched. What self-respecting Disciple Of Larry could pass up a chance to ride a camel? I was afraid that Quinn would be too afraid after seeing her reaction to the llama, but she didn't seem to realize what was happening. So, we climbed on board and took a lap around the pen, and it was over.
Let me tell the men out there one thing: Put your feet up on the camel. Don't hang your legs down the side, or you'll hurt your nads somethin' fierce. If the camel walker hadn't told me early on, it probably would have guaranteed Quinn being an only child.
Quinn is going to be a real programmer and prefers to start with the Camel and skip the Llama altogether.
(Sorry, merlyn...)
