There's a term in my home called "fofty". It's an acronym that stands for "the funk of forty-thousand years". It refers to any kind of crud, mung, whatever that accumulates over time and is gross. The canonical example of fofty is what you find behind the refrigerator.

So I just moved into a new cube at work and the fofty growing in the crevices is mind-blowing. I can almost track the past 7 years of lunches eaten at this desk. I've spent this morning cleaning it up.

You geeks and your acronyms :)

Quinn is going to grow up with a very interesting vocabulary.

Does "fofty" occur in code?

Of course it does. Substitute "cruft" for "fofty".
