I have started putting stuff over in my blog at http://petdance.com/blog. It will become my standard blog, and only the most Perl-specific items will wind up here.
Oh thank god...

... because for a second there I thought you were going to say you were leaving outright like a number of others have.
Because people leave and then in about a week I lose track of them, and then never get to read any of their stuff again.
use.perl.org has no journal stats

You weren't complaining about the use.perl.org journal system, but I will: There are no readership stats.
One of my only metrics about whether my posts are getting read is the number of comments, which is a really bad metric for readership.
On the other hand, I read the journals here because it's a lot of Perl stuff in one place.
Since I'm not using one of those newfangled RSS readers, I'm less likely to find Andy's stuff at his new place.

I strongly suggest you DO get one of those newfangled RSS readers. I couldn't live without one.
There will be plenty of stuff at my other blog, mostly related to hiring, how to get hired, and the book I'm working on. Only the most Perly stuff will get here as well.
