This is the first I heard of it. I may yet submit a proposal, if I can think of a good one. Perhaps I'll even do a half-day tutorial. :)

Every year I say that next I'll be organised and have some ideas well in advance of the call for papers. And then every year the announcement appears and takes me by surprise.
