iChat times out on some RPC stuff

If anyone can help me figure out what iChat is squawkin' about, it would sure be swell.

Every so often, iChat will bring up a beach ball for 15-20 seconds and then continue on its merry way. I find stuff like this in /var/log/syslog

Jun 30 12:24:12 goofus netinfod local[276]: unable to bind to parent - RPC: Timed out

Jun 30 12:24:12 goofus /Applications/iChat.app/Contents/MacOS/iChat: MIG: server died : CGSExtractEventRecordsFromMessage

Googling turns up nothing. Suggestions?

The problem is with netinfo thinking it's in a hierarchy. I should be able to just turn that off: http://www.opendarwin.org/en/faq.php#nibinding
