Think Like a Perl Programmer

Nat's idea to turn "Think like a Computer Scientist" into "Think like a Perl Programmer" is a great idea. I've been thinking about it for the past year or so.

Thinking like a Perl programmer, at least to me, seems to imply not only thinking like a computer scientist, but like a poet, a novelist, an engineer, a linguist, a musician, and a maethematician, balancing all of them carefully to come up with a single protean approach to problems.

I'll take a look at it and see how it thinks and then see if I can make it think that way instead.

The coverage of the NYC/DC attacks continues. I've been writing op tests as a sanity break. Hearing about the two planes that didn't make their intended targets -- the Pentagon plane was apparently actually supposed to hit the White House -- makes me wonder about what actually happened on board. Hope the cockpit voice recorders and flight data recorders are recovered.
