Hfb's journal entry showing off some photos brought out the showoff in me, so here's some of my black and white photos, and some from the first Perl Whirl to Alaska.
I've turned on comments, so feel free to tell me what you think, good or bad.
I really like the black and white series, especially the Cloister since it has a nice line that draws your eye across the photo, nice contrast and it just looks cool. I need more practice so I can possibly keep up with you and freeside

Actually, I'm thinking of redoing the cloister one. I held back the floor a little too much and there's a rather abrupt transition from shadow to bright floor that simply wasn't there in the 'real' scene. Needs toning down slightly.Practice, editing and then more practice are what the key to getting better photographs. The pile of photos I would never consider putting up on the web is large, and getting larger all the time.
