Considering hating Safari

I'm at my parents' for Christmas and as well as the nice food, I also get to play with my dad's iBook as a change from Windows and Linux. It's cute, with its own little annoyances (where's the hash key? <C-k>Nb in vim is an annoying substitute).

I'm not finding Safari especially impressive, though to be fair, it doesn't seem to be much more broken than IE, and appears to work with more sites than Opera (lovely in every way apart from its random crashes, inability to work on many vital web sites, and recent bloat).

I'm off tomorrow, so I don't think I'll have time to really build up the full complement of bile necessary to submit a hate, but will have to content myself with a mild sensation of disappointment about a tool I seem to recall was hyped as a revolutionary web browser whose features would leave me salivating.
