I've released IMDB::Film 0.13. There are a couple bug fixes only because 13 is not good number and I didn't want to do many changes in that version :) It's a joke. I don't have enough time to implement my ideas: iterator for matched list and search by character. But I hope I'll do it that month.
I was also planning on creating a module to identify the films' trailers on Apple.com and include that in my weekly e-mail too.

I'm glade to know that people use IMDB::Film! It's very good! I'll add some useful features (I hope they will be useful) soon.
I'll try to add getting trailer from IMDB in next version if it'll be needed for somebody.
Which should I use?

It's depending on you. I know that Jeffrey who is the author of IMDB::Movie uses IMDB::Film:) Re:Hmm...

Yes, but I was hoping you'd say "use this because of that" or "use that because of this".How is someone who doesn't know any of those modules going to choose which to use?

Ok, you are right. I'd like to say "Use IMDB::Film" because it gives you more features than IMDB::Movie like full plot, extra information about movie, information about movie's persons etc. Also, it allows to be inherited and add yourself methods easy. And the finally I'm planning add some new intersting features soon. So, I hope now you have enough information to make your choice:)
