Darwin award disqualification

I feel obliged to announce that I have disqualified myself from the Darwin Awards. No matter how creative or clumsy I now am*, I'm simply not going to get one. Elizabeth $middlename Pavlović was born at 07:03 yesterday, her due date - on schedule, without even having seen the project plan.

More information, and links to pictures, in Andrea's blog.

* but to be sure of this, I intend to stick around until she disqualifies herself too.

She might be on schedule

but she'll never be within budget

So then he'll have picked Good and Fast, and abandoned Cheap. I'm sure the parents can live with that :)

My three can attest to the fact that I have no problem with good and fast. Now if they'd only keep their rooms tidy! ;-)

Whee!

Congratulations on your disqualification :)

Well done

Yippee! Well done.

Bring her to YAPC::EU - Perl needs some young blood :)

Might be a bit early for a Perl conference. My son waited until his third month to make one :) (IPW 2008 in Pisa)

Congratulations Nicholas ! Welcome to a whole new world of tuits !

Yes, but she's a bit late to apply for send-a-newbie, and she can't afford to pay her own way.

More practical problem is that she doesn't have a passport yet. Heck, she doesn't even have a birth certificate (there's 6 weeks to register that). She does have an NHS number, though. I wonder if that's allocated before you're even born. :-)

Congratulations

There are few things so delightful or beautiful as the occasional delighted or very happy look from our 6 month old boy.

Certainly it is hard for me to imagine anything so unequivocally positive, satisfying and encouraging.

God bless you and your family.
