use more 'sharks'

Streuth - Venda now have at least six agencies trying to fill their Perl job:

tom@acuro.co.uk
http://jobs.perl.org/job/4702
ben.durrant@orleston.com
http://jobs.perl.org/job/4843
james.mills@eurobase-international.com
http://jobs.perl.org/job/4841
anthonygodley@abrs.com
http://jobs.perl.org/job/4868
michelle.cockram@the-logic-group.com
http://jobs.perl.org/job/4876
ciaran_okane@spring.com
http://jobs.perl.org/job/4918

and probably this one too:

gavin@way-forward.com
http://jobs.perl.org/job/4813

The first one suggests £35-60k which is the largest London number I remember seeing on jobs.perl.org

disclaimer - I have not soiled my ears conversing with any of these fine people - I am merely infering that all the jobs are Venda as I'm unaware of any other firm that wants UML and CVS. I don't work for Venda, nor do I have anything to do with their recruiting. I'm just watching the jobs list and being surprised by what I see.

For future reference, once those jobs are expired from jobs.perl.org, here are the original list messages:

  1. http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.jobs/5009
  2. http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.jobs/5157
  3. http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.jobs/5181
  4. http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.jobs/5201
  5. http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.jobs/5210
  6. http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.jobs/5258
  7. http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.jobs/5144

At least they're all using jobs.perl.org. The message is slowly getting though!

By "at least" I meant "these are the ones that are using jobs.perl.org". There may well others advertising elsewhere that I wasn't aware of.

Any time a recruiter contacts me about a job I tell them to list it on jobs.perl.org and leave me alone. :)

ok..

Who do I have to stroke to get them to use Handel? :-)

UML and CVS?

Two steps forward, one step back...
