Yes, I'd seen the web comic.

My colleague Chris sees two advantages of jfdi:

  1. The letters J and F are the two on the keyboard with the pips, so it's very easy to know you're in the right place when you start typing
  2. No other command starts jf, so you can actually type jf<tab>

This all seems to be applied laziness :-)
