I just went for a wander down to the park to see if the stream has flooded. Except that when I got to the gate, there were a couple of police cars that had just arrived. And a police officer with a rifle. I decided that it wasn't a good idea to go into the park just then. The police officer agreed.
Had I managed to be a bit more prompt, I would have been in the park before they arrived. Which could have been more "interesting", as I'm not sure who they were expecting to meet.
