Whenever a, er, recruitment "consultant"* e-mails me with another /Perl/i job, I reply, thanking them for their interest in me, politely declining, and asking if they know about jobs.perl.org. Often they don't, and seem to be very happy to learn of it and start making use of it. For example
Thank you for your assistance, it is most helpful. I'll get onto the web site and look into advertising the position.
Help save the world. Or at least invest in looking after number one by improving the Perl job market, but pretend that you're doing it for everyone else. :-)
* They keep using that word. I do not think it means what they think that it means.
