And the serious take home message - don't rely on colour to distinguish things on your website, as some of your users will be colour blind.
No, I don't know why the use.perl
site has decided to close and open a <div>
at the end of the first A line, buggering up the formatting
Recently at work I was mistaken for a graphic designer and ended up doing pretty things for a while. Part of this was the decision of a colourscheme, and hilst I already knew my triadic colourscheme from my elbow (at least by a process of elimination) I couldn't visualise the colourwheel well enough to choose so needed help. A quick Googling produced this colourscheme generator.
The generator also had a feature which came in very useful, it allows you to check- at least approximately- how the scheme will look for someone with one of a selection of colour blind issues. Whilst I'm not sure how complete or accurate this is, it does at least seem to at least be able to give an idea of how different colourschemes may work with different visual impairments.
