Noah and Nelly vaguely rings a bell, so I suspect I may have seen it. (Which is slightly surprising, because of the 2 other major series by Bob Godfrey, the earlier Rhubarb and Custard, I know I liked, and the later Henry's Cat I remember as being annoying)
Anyway, read about Noah and Nelly and smile. The episodes are just surreal. Why don't they make children's progammes with this level of imagination any more?
I remember it, the problem was Nelly always knitted up a solution, which along with the double-ended animals is all I can remember about it. I always prefered Roobarb & Custard anyway.
I could not agree more than modern TV is failing to live up to the standards of old - either that or I'm getting set in my ways....
