Opening hours on Western Riverside "civic amenity site" (ie tip) aren't that good - but the hours on Cringle Dock are amazing. Opening times: 6am Boxing Day to Christmas Eve (time unspecificed). Yes, that's right - it's open 364 days a year, 24 hours a day! You really can show up with a car full of rubbish at 9:30pm on Saturday and dump it, without charge.
