While sitting eating lunch in the park near work I was amused by the antics of a raven. It was sitting on the top of a wastebin, reaching in, grabbing the black bin-liner bag with its beak, and attempting to pull it up. It wasn't doing very well, as the bin liner was mostly empty (so nothing spilled out immediately) but did have some weight in the bottom (so it fell back down when the bird let go). I've read about this sort of behaviour before, but I think that this is the first time that I've seen it happen.
