So lots of new stuff is being uploaded to CPAN, parrot is progressing, and there are regular maintenance releases of perl. It's all nice, safe, secure, getting your job done type of stuff. But therefore it's not the most risqué or unpredictable of things, nor is it really rocket science. So what unexpected projects are happening in perl?
