new CV

On Monday I tendered my resignation from my current job. I'm on three months' notice, and I've tried to ensure as smooth a handover as possible by giving them almost four months' notice. Anyway, my current CV is out of date (doesn't even show my current job), so I guess I need to update it.

They say laziness is a virtue, so here's a first draft :-)

It has it's merits

It's snappy and to the point, I'd hire you..... ;-)

BUT it doesn't say that you have/are/can:

  • A good sense of humour
  • A team player
  • Can think outside the box
  • Challenge orthodoxy
  • Deliver excellence

Or indeed any of the range of crap that HR put on job descriptions....

you may just wish for that job to come back :) I'd say congrats and enjoy your time off but there'd have to be a remorseless cackle in there somewhere :)
