WiFi spots in DC - Most of the free spots seem to be Georgetown / DuPont Circle, not where tourists want to be, and deep into Arlington proper.

• Rosslyn Courtyard by Marriot now has B/b free in room but lobby WiFi is $$ to keep the riffraff out, reversed from prior. Room has some else's Wayport available for $$.
  
  
• Murky Coffee - Capitol Hill neighborhoor - 660 Pennsylvania Ave SE - 202-546-5228 (enter on 7th St SE) probably closer to Eastern Market than Capitol South Metro? House coffee is Aceh Relief Blend, a Central American blend, good of kind but a bit mild for me. Sulawesi Taraja (aka Celebes) is tasty. Friendly place. Blogging heaven. essid=murky
  
  
• Open Park Project - provides coverage in front of the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress and the Capitol Visitors' Center site.; may cover mall? No, Mall site doesn't appear to be up yet. Capitol site weakly received from street, in middle of visitor center construction zone. / [update] Better in good weather, this update is on essid="openpark". A good card might work it from Supreme Court stpes but not my Zaurus
  
  
• Caribou -- touted as good on web, tasty, full range of roasts. Crystal City, 2100 Crystal Drive 703-414-0990. WiFi is pay $$ with a vendor called Freedom, how ironic.
  
  
• Quiznos Subs near Mall behind D of Ed, 400 C ST SW has free WiFi. I saw other locations listed in directories, perhaps most franchises do? Corp website is silent. If so, I should have tried Rosslyn Highlands Quinzos, 1600ish Wilson. [update]

• Federal Communications Commission Offices - Twelfth Street, Courtyard and Eight Floor Levels - 445 12th St. SW - Didn't get to try Part 15 Operation at FCC HQ, alas, so not verified. [update]
