After waking up in the morning with a bit of a hangover, I finally crawled out of bed to register. I chatted with the wonderfully friendly Vee of O'Reilly.
Then, I bumped into the other members of the Stonehenge instructors team, and we decided to meet for dinner: a rare event to have us all in the same place at the same time. We finally settled on a nice Italian restaurant in the Gaslamp district called La Trada.
After the s3kr3t planning meeting, we rushed back for the Perl Trainers BOF. About a dozen people showed up, and we exchanged many ideas and viewpoints with other trainers: some in industrial training, others in higher education.
Following the Perl Trainers BOF, Tom and I stuck around for the Perl Documentation Project BOF, until we both realized that we needed to spend some time on the presentation we're giving Thursday.
Two hours of wrestling with Powerpoint later... {sigh}
