The accursed switch is here! A solid month of ebay horrorshow brought to an end.
FYI, it's a BayStack 350T. Yeah, I know Bay gear has a shitty reputation, but it only has to serve my HOUSE. So far it's doing fine, and (scp) file transfers across the network are about 300kBps faster now. The purple thing under it is deneb (Netra X1) and the beige thing under that is lyra (Ultra2). The beige thing under that is one of the cabinets from my HP250 minicomputer. In the foreground is the Wyse 60, sitting on the other HP250 cabinet. On top of everything is a little LinkSys switch/NAT doohickey. And of course you can see my totally awesome wallpaper.
Aside from finally getting this in, it was a shitty ebay day. Lost two auctions out of 2, including one for a book which costs $125 from Powells and went for $31. I was sniped with 6s to go.
