I know I'm way behind the curve on this one, but I just got around to installing SpamAssassin yesterday, and -- wow. I love it. Out of about 70 spam received since I set it up, only 2 have gotten through without being flagged (and they were both just under the threshold).
Put that together with Call Intercept from my mildly-disliked local phone company, and I've cut down considerably on annoying interruptions. (And, who knows, maybe this will make me forgive them for the DSL nightmare.)
Now, if I could only cut down on cute interruptions (little gray cats walking across my keyboard, for instance), I might get something done today...
