From now on I'm staying off the Internet on April Fool's Day. It didn't start out so bad -- the CJAN thing here on use Perl; is really pretty clever.
The Register has a story about AOL buying up blogs. Not very funny, or believable, but, whatever. FC has a poorly written fake story that uses the lame "www.legitsite.com@IP.OF.REAL.SITE.HERE" trick to try to appear more legitimate. Annoying. Slashdot, however, is winning the prize for most obnoxious site of the day. As I type this, there are nine April Fool's stories on their front page. Nine!
I could go on and on, but I won't. ;)
Maybe it's just me. Oh well. Only 7 hours 15 minutes till April 2nd (in EST, at least).
