Amazing how the brain works. You can look at something and see what you thought you wrote, not what you actually did. I created some tests for Net::RGTP the other day and called the file "basic.pl" instead of "basic.t". Of course that meant that "make test" didn't see it, but I was down to stracing the make before I saw this rather obvious problem.
Still, it all works now. Next up, the ability to post articles to RGTP boards.
I wonder whether the world is ready for Net::Server::RGTP.
Any implementations out there that I could look over, in addition to GROGGS?
Thanks!

There's no longer any major RGTP implementation other than GROGGS. There used to be a game of Nomic, but that fizzled out, and I believe there's a geek house in Cambridge which run a private RGTP server. Both of those use a Python-based server called "spurge" rather than the C-based rgtpd that GROGGS uses. You can find a copy of spurge here if you'd like to play with it.Hope that helps some!
