So I just discovered a great idea from 2001. So stop me if you've heard this one.

Michael Schwern created a detailed proposal for a project called CPANTS. I have long felt that CPAN would be benefit from some kind of rating and comment system, and this sounds like a great solution.

Personally, I'm in. I'll help.

Excellent, I think it's a wonderful idea too ;-) I have some ideas for new metrics and possibly some kwalitee ratings and any help would be welcome.
