The development of Joose, a meta object system for JavaScript with great similarities (and interoperability) to Moose continues at great pace. We just released a new release candidate and the release should happen today or tomorrow.
Meanwhile I started a new job at sinnerschrader (Hamburg, Germany) and we have quite a few job openings in all things software engineering. Especially if you are tired of body leasing, you might find this video interesting.
I'm on the lookout for a job, and know another Israeli who wishes to relocate with his family to somewhere outside Israel. The question is whether the jobs are open for Israeli citizens (without a German/EU citizenship) who do not speak German. On the site even the job titles are in German.
If it's still relevant, feel free to contact me in private. If it's not, I'd like to be told that that is the case.

Not a good sign if you want to (continue to) code in Perl:
"Auf der Server-Seite programmieren wir in Java,
.NET oder Ruby on Rails." Re:Are they open to Israelis?

Well, all positions are for on-site work in Germany. If that is an option you can certainly apply. Although the job descriptions are in German you should be able to get the grasp:)
