For some good music I can really recommend the radio station from vienna, austria fm4. Their stream is windows media player only unfortunately. It's located at mms://stream1.orf.at/fm4_live
yay, fm4++
I used to listen to it when I still listened to radio. Now I mostly put on a vinyl record from my evergrowing collection if I'm in the mood for music.
Oh, and ever since I did the website for Oe1 I have their frequency as the default on my stereo...
BTW, some random bit of Austrian radio lore: The first programme they did was called Oe1 (for Oesterreich 1). Which mainly plays classical/arty music and text programmes. Then they did various local programmes. Thirty years ago they started a new 'popular channel for young people' called Oe3. Oe3 now mainly plays boring mainstream format, so ten years ago the did a new channel for young people, called fm4. Now their out of free freqencies, but with digital radio et.al we might get [(oe|fm)5 soon

Norther Germany's public radio NDR has exactly the same history. NDR2 war launched for a younger audience and later N-Joy was added when the NDR2 listeners outgrew their youth. However N-Joy is nowhere near the quality of fm4. They mostly play Verisign's "Jamba Klingeltone Charts" stuff
:) On a side note: The mms protocol stream perfectly well through ssh tunnels if you happen to be behind an unfriendly firewall.
