Thursday was a slow day. This year it seemed that the quality and quantity of sessions petered out after Day 3. Maybe because it was too close to YAPC? Maybe the economy kept people at home?
CPANPLUS and Exception Handling were two worthwhile sessions. The Visual Effects keynote, where we got to see how they do the animation for LOTR was way cool. Makes me feel like I'm in the wrong business. I love the term "rendering wall".
Ended up eating dinner at the hotel as the kids were worn out from Corondo beach. Yep, those were my kids screaming and flinging pasta.
