Just wanted to say thank you to all attendees of this years yapc::europe, especially those that made time to thank us for organising the event.
My partner, Lynsey enjoyed the experience so much that she got herself a copy of "learning perl" which she hopes to get her head around by Vienna. She enjoyed meeting so many of you, and remarked on what lovely people you all were.
For me - the only way I can describe the experience is as a long burning firework display. Its taken ages to get up till the delivery stage, and, when it finally exploded over three days of sparkling, shimmering glory, almost all of our time was spent making sure the right bangs went off in the right order, so much so, I fear we missed the bulk of the display. ( and yes, I would do the whole thing all over again )
theres still quite some work to go yet until its over though, and if you doubt this - when was the last time you finished a project on the delivery date... ? ;)
