Bad news, good news

First, bad news. wxPerl 0.10 compiles on MacOSX, but it doesn't work. Here some of the output during the test phase:

t/1_load............ClassInfo initialization failed 'wxProcess' at /System/Library/Perl/darwin/DynaLoader.pm line 200. Compilation failed in require at t/1_load.t line 6.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at t/1_load.t line 6.

By the way, this can't really be considered "news": it's well known by wxPerl users.

Now, good news (for me, at least). I posted on Perlmonks a link to some stuff I wrote about Perl, music and creativity. I had good feedback. I hope the same could happen here.

...enable comments in your next post. I used to live in a village called Vajont in the Fruili region of Northern Italy. Closest "big" city is Pordenone in case you're looking at a map. I enjoyed the photos of Venice as I've been there many times and it brought back a memory or two. In particular there's a really good pub in one of the (many) side streets that serves a really decent pint of Guinness!!
