On Saturday 9, I attended my very first PerlMongers
meeting. Actually, it was the first meeting for a brand new
group, Nordest.pm.
Nordest.pm collects mongers from Veneto, Trentino Alto-Adige and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, but geographical boundaries are intentionally vague, in order to encourage partecipation. Anyway, due to flu and other problems, we were only 5.
I've always thought that one reason that makes Perl "cute more than the others", is its smart community of developers. Now that I've met some of them, I'm even more persuaded of that.
What are our intents? I could resume them in a motto: Not to be a province in the Republic of Perl
