This'll learn me to actually click into one of the /. discussions.... Someone posted a link to the fast seduction website, complete with FAQ, newbie guide and (my favorite) acronym glossary. Is an attitude like this the result of too many sports metaphors, or an evolutionary desire to spread seed? One of the best things about cultures like this is how outsiders are dismissed: if you're not with us, you're an AFC brainwashed by the feminazi culture.
On the plus side, now I know a source for the enlightened participants for Blind Date.
That stuff is really really weird. And there's something really creepy and 20th century and low-class about all those aimless acronyms.

I agree entirely. The creepiest thing to me is how sincere they are about this -- there's no sense of awareness that this is out of the ordinary beyond laughing at the suckers who aren't clued in.
The wild generalization strikes me that these are the people who, failing to find a partner earlier in life for all the shallow pointless scamming, make fools of themselves in their fifties trying to act younger through cars and other possessions.
