*woof woof*

Last week I went to see the doctor about a bunch of problems (you get older, you start falling apart). As long as I can remember, I've had to eat first thing in the morning or I become nauseous. If I wait long enough before eating, I start to vomit. The last few months it has been getting a lot worse, and now I am waking up already feeling ill, and having it again a couple more times during the day.

The good news is that she doesn't think I have diabetes (although I'm supposed to get a test just the same). My problem is a 'poorly trained stomach'.

This means that my stomach is making acid based upon the time of day rather than the presence of food, and this excess acid is making me feel sick. We're now trying to retrain my stomach.

I feel like one of Pavlov's doggies. Just ring the alarm clock and I'm salivating.
