Casey West and I have set up a makeshift wireless network here at the Cheshire hotel in St. Louis for anyone who wants to use it. It's uplinked through my Earthlink dialup (getting 26.4kbps due to phone line conditions), and wireless via Casey's Linksys WAP11 and high-gain omnidirectional antenna. Anyone's welcome to use it with an ESSID of "cwest". It'll go down in the morning so I can take my laptop to the sessions, but probably go back up tomorrow night. It gets pretty good range - signal is available somewhat down in the first floor lounge, and pretty decently in the wine/beer garden. The antenna is in room 207, so you can guess ranges from there.
