Well, got the message today that Holland America found my garment bag, which they'd managed to somehow lose between the ship and the dock at the end of Perl Whirl. They're forwarding it to me via Airbone Express. Cheap bastards couldn't even go for next day, they had to send it 2nd day. Oh well, nothing all that important in there anyway, it's not like I ever actually wear the crap that I had to for the formal nights! :)
In other news, I FedEx'd off the check to Kurt at the Perl Foundation today, completing our promise for the DynDNS donation. I'm eagerly awaiting their press release, as hinted at in gnat's journal. Should be a good one. Perhaps a full Slashdotting will ensue.
It's very cool that another $6000+ has been donated to the Perl Foundation since our announcement on Friday. I'm really happy to see that we've been having the intended effect, giving the community an example to follow. Way to go everyone who's donated so far. To everyone who hasn't - go donate!
