Perl 5.10.1 and Task::Kensho now available on gentoo.

I've been meaning to state this sooner, but things get away on you and you procrastinate.

As of this week, Task::Kensho and all its dependents are available on the gentoo perl overlay [1][2], free for your installation.

Noted some of the dependents are still Masked, and if you want them, you'll have to unmask them yourself, But its available, and its being used, and thats what matters.

Also, yesterday, the long awaited perl 5.10.1 build was merged back into the master branch, and hopefully if we can get enough people to test it and report on their success, we can get it slated for migration.

Its sad enough that 5.10.0 didn't hit sooner, it was expected 5.10.1 would be out a week or so later so they delayed, and of course, weeks turned into months and the rest... yeah.

Props to Torsten Veller for his continuing efforts with the Perl 5.10.1 builds.

Enjoy.

( ps. people wishing to contribute are more than welcome, hit up #gentoo-perl on freenode. )
