MyPerl (http://myperl.eu/) is a site that offers RSS feeds for all of the Perl modules.
You can subscribe to a module's RSS feed, and get snippets of that module's Changelog in the feed with new versions of the module, as they come out.
If you log on with OpenID, then you'll be able to create a custom RSS feed of modules you choose.
And finally you can subscribe to the "All Modules" feed that gives you notifications for every module there is, with a short description for the module.
Soon we'll have a forum for each module.
Looks like a cool idea.
If I may make a suggestion: remove the Login from the page until the user is required to login. I nearly closed the window immediately, thinking I had to register just to look at the site.

I see your point (thanks). But since it would require a big restructuring to implement the system you describe, I just added the word Optional for now to make it clear that registration is not required.
