Rotterdam.pm first meeting

I don't think I'm exaggerating saying that the first meeting we held yesterday evening was a great succes. At 19:00 some 8 people showed up for dinner and around 20:00 2 more people joined us. So 10 people for the first meeting!

We decided to alternate between a social meeting and a technical meeting every month, the third tuesday of each month.

The meetings will be held in English, so if you ever come to Rotterdam, drop me a note and we can arrange a meeting with the Mongers!

There's your problem right there. You should have been talking about Buffy, or Lisp, or Smalltalk or knitting. Tcha! Talking about Perl indeed!

OK, we also talked about Java (yuk!), Linux on handhelds, wireless in restaurants, Apple notebooks, cops in the US, weed in the UK, so only a small portion was about Perl :)
