pVoice needs a new release. Quickly. Krista needs more functionality, more words and more speed.
It's all not so difficult to implement, but the main factor I'm lacking is time. And that's what bothers me. I have so many ideas of things to build for her, if only I had the time to build it.
pABC should become her reading/writing excercise program, with eventually the possibility to let the computer pronounce the words she has formed. Now that needs Kevin Lenzo's software and -more importantly- a dutch voice for Festival, but if I had the time to work on it, I might be able to build something for that (dunno...haven't had the time to look at it)
And I want to use the efforts that people have put into Mr. House to set up an 802.11 network between the wheelchair-computer and a server which is connected to the X10 network to let her control electrical devices like lights, radio, television, or even doors.
and then there is also a book to write
