So I was a lucky guy....I found a new job within two weeks after I got fired. It's a contract position with Web-ICT in Amsterdam (no, there's nothing to see at their website). A very small company which does interesting projects. And also
I talked to Simon Cozens on IRC about the next wxPerl article I'm going to finish next weekend. He was interested and it'll probably be published on Perl.com.
Yesterday I mailed gnat if he'd be interested in a wxPerl talk at TPC next year. He sounded like he was interested, so maybe I'll talk about it there. It might be a tutorial or a normal talk. It depends.
My personal life slowly gets better. I'm living on my own for two weeks now. But because my wife has been ill for the same period of time I'm there a lot to take care of the kids.
