The server went up at 14:07 CET again, within the estimated downtime. Total downtime a little less than two hours, but I can't complain. People are still visiting the site, and I've never had more visitors in one day than today.
I just submitted an article for Slashdot. I wonder if it'll be accepted...last year I submitted a similar story, but that one got rejected. Maybe the fact that Perl.com has an article on it will be convincing them?
