It has been a long time since I have written anything in my journal... Soon I will write about some of my hobby projects on which I have been working through out the summer holidays, but for know I will just express my continuous joy over using OOP Perl.
I have gotten this assignment at work, where I have to encapsulate an PL/SQL based API. Using DBI and DBD::Oracle and Perl OOP techniques this task has proven to be a lot of fun, the only difficult thing actually is understanding the source and target datamodels and all the twists contained in these, but Perl really makes the job easy.
Well I have to get back to work, later...
