I sent a patch for Number::Format as mentioned earlier in my journal, I offered the author Bill Ward my assistance and he took me up on it.
The module is hosted on SourceForge and I am now officially a developer of Number::Format.
My first task (suggested by me) was to go through the rt.cpan queue and look what was there, list and suggest a priority - I have just done that and sent a mail to Bill.
